It’s official, it has been over one year since my last in-person tradeshow. I can’t say I miss the flights or the lunch lines, but I yearn for the days where I can join my fellow technologists face-to-face for a whirlwind week of catching up and hearing straight from the field, the good, bad, and the ugly feedback, then the community meetups where we get much the same but we also get to present, share and learn with other. The good news is that education does not stop for anything and as more virtual events occur organizers are continuously improving to bring the closest thing to a live interactive event experience they can to the comfort of our laptops. Next on the docket is KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Europe Virtual, May 4 – May 7, 2021. The trade show is on track to be a record-setting event, gathering thousands of cloud-native contributors, adopters, maintainers, and technologists to learn about all things Kubernetes and cloud-native.
